MISHAWAKA, Ind. — The Niles softball team dropped to 5-10 on the season after going 0-3 at the Mishawaka Cavemen vs. Cancer Classic on Friday and Saturday.

The Vikings lost to Mishawaka Marian 3-0 as Ariel Sheets tossed a no-hitter.

Niles was defeated by Mishawaka 12-3 in its second game on Friday, while on Saturday the Vikings were edged by Elkart Central 6-5.

Molly VanDeKeere took all three losses for the Vikings.

In the second game against Mishawaka, Tala Gentry had a home run for Niles, while VanDeKeere had a double.

Against Elkhart Central, Sarah Cramer had a double.
