The Dowagiac JV golf team finished third at the Wolverine Conference Jamboree on Wednesday at Stonehedge.

Host Gull Lake and Vicksburg shared the top spot with identical team totals of 173. The Chieftains finished five strokes back with a 178. Otsego and Plainwell rounded out the top five.

Dowagiac’s total was a season low.

Jonathan Robinson and Andrew Wild both shot 44, while Gaige Grant and Anthony Nelson each shot 45. The Chieftains also got a 47 from Paul Lamphere and a 48 from Christian Hess.
