DUHS netters fall to Gull Lake

RICHLAND – The Dowagiac tennis team dropped a 6-2 Wolverine Conference decision to Gull Lake Monday afternoon.
The Chieftains played a pretty competitive match against the out-going Blue Devils, who will join the Big 16 Conference next season.
Dowagiac’s two victories came in singles competition as Hope Daniel defeated Ellie Arnold 6-1 and 6-2 at No. 1 singles and Kristina Bunn defeated Shelby Kinard 7-5 and 6-4 at No. 4 singles.
The Chieftains are back in action today as they host Vicksburg at the Dowagiac Middle School courts.
