Barba Wedding, 72, of Niles, died at 6:20 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2011 at West Woods of Niles of natural causes.

He was born Nov. 1, 1938 in Owensboro, Ky. He lived in the Niles area since 1956.

Barba was an electrical lineman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing; riding around looking for deer; and was involved with the Steelworkers of America and Niles Board of Public Works.

He married his lifetime friend and the love of his life, Judy Wedding, in Niles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Louvina Wedding, and four brothers.

Barba is survived by his sons, Joe (Robin) Wedding of St. Cloud, Minn. and George (Chrissy) Wedding of New London, Minn.; stepsons, Robert D. McKeel of Niles, Michael (Robin) McKeel of Niles and Rick (Sheryl) McKeel of Niles; daughters, Bernice (Dave) Engesveen of South Bend and Donna Faye (Chris) Hall of Edwardsburg; three brothers; grandchildren, Sarah (Chris) Peffley, Angela Gibson and Diana, Calvin, Josh, Barry, Nicholas and Cody; step-grandchildren, Shannon, Ava, Abby, Megan and Matthew McKeel; and great-grandchildren, Noah, Ethan and Austin.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 21 at Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan with the Rev. Donald Fleischman of Fairland Christian Church in Niles officiating.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
