THREE RIVERS — The Dowagiac varsity tennis team was defeated by host Three Rivers 6-2 in Wolverine Conference action on Thursday.

The Chieftains picked up their lone wins at No. 3 and No. 4 singles with Jessica Holmes and Kristina Bunn.

Holmes defeated Amanda Crup 6-4 and 6-1 at No. 3 singles, while Bunn defeated Taylor Katsaros 6-1 and 7-5 and No. 4 singles.

Dowagiac is back in action today as it hosts Vicksburg in a league match beginning at 4 p.m.
