Kenneth Kuntz, 85, of Cassopolis, died Friday, March 4, 2011 at The Timbers of Cass County, Dowagiac.

He was born March 28, 1925 in Rochester, Pa. to Kenneth and Elsie (McConnell) Kuntz. He married Mary Brunton on July 14, 1970 in Bainbridge, Ga. She survives.

Kenneth served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1945. He retired in 1992 from McCoy-Miller in Elkhart. He was a partner in Shult Mobile Homes in Elkhart, and worked as an engineer there until 1968.

Ken was an avid fisherman and loved boating and hunting.

Along with his wife, Mary, Kenneth is survived by one daughter, Dian (John) Hawkins of Osceola, Ind.; one son, Randall (Dixie) Kuntz of Atlanta, Ga.; three grandchildren, Bryan, Christina and Jason; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Family and friends will gather for a memorial service Saturday, April 2, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Cassopolis United Methodist Church, 209 South Rowland St., Cassopolis.
