Edna La Dine (Bowker) Noble, 81, of South 13th Street, Niles passed away Monday, April 4 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.

She was born May 1, 1929 in Buchanan to William and Effie (Raber) Bowker. On Oct. 25, 1947 she married Alva Le Roy Noble, who preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 2000.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, William and Effie (Raber) Bowker; sisters, Dorothy June Bowker, Wanda Hanover, Muriel Burns, Mildred Zebell and Ruth Shepherd (Sept. 29, 2009); and brother, William Bowker.
Survivors include her daughters, Diana (Frank) Holub, Nancy (Garry) Godsey and Edna (Perry) Mutchler, of Niles; and son, Alva E. Noble of Mishawaka, Ind. Also surviving are granddaughters, Diana Sue Myers, Debra (Scott) Sachman, Michelle (Allen) Cole ;and grandsons, Garry Godsey, Jeremy Mutchler, Justin Mutchler and Michael Mutchler, of Niles; great-grandsons; Cody Cole, Dylan Cole, Nathan Sachman, Joshua Sachman and Logan Godsey; and great-granddaughters, Nicole Sachman and Katelyn Godsey. Sister Jane (Ralph) Boswell of South Bend and brother James (Judy) Bowker of Niles survive Edna as well.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main St., Mishawaka with services to be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the services at Mission Hills Cemetery in Niles.
