EDWARDSURG — Visiting Niles dropped a 5-3 non-conference decision to the Edwardsburg tennis team Thursday afternoon.

The Eddies swept the singles flights, while Niles won three out of the four doubles flights.

Niles picked up wins at No. 2 doubles with Nichole Sly and Paxton Schaller, No. 3 doubles with Michelle Briand and Anna Benjamin and No. 3 doubles with Liz Rocha and Abby Mattson.

Sly and Schaller defeated Kinzie Hahn and Jessica Brown in three sets, 6-4, 4-6 and 6-3.

Rocha and Mattson also won in three sets over Andrea Wagoner and Amanda Barella 2-6, 6-4 and 6-4.
