There will be a community send-off for the basketball team beginning at 2 p.m. from the high school parking lot.

Dowagiac will be traveling to Middleville-Thornapple Kellogg High School to play East Grand Rapids in the Class B state quarterfinals. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.

Anyone wishing to participate in the send-off should arrive at 1:45 p.m.

Tickets for the contest are $6 and will be available at the door, The doors are scheduled to open at 6 p.m.
