John R. White, Jr., 48, formerly of Cassopolis, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011 in Atlanta, Ga.

He was born Sept. 30, 1962 in Niles to John and Yvonne (Haithcox) White, Sr.

He is survived by his parents, John and Yvonne White of Cassopolis; daughter, Jacqueline White of Lafayette, Ind.; sons, Jamarcus “JJ” White of Benton Harbor and Jaray White of Dowagiac; three grandchildren; sister, Darla (Kim) Curry of Elkhart, Ind.; and brother, Javon (Heather) White of Edwardsburg.

Johnny was preceded in death by one son, Dante White.

Family and friends will gather from noon Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011 until the time of memorial service at 1 p.m. at Connelly Chapel, Wagner Family Funerals, Cassopolis.

Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Calvin Township.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray final expenses in care of Wagner Family Funerals, 202 North Broadway St., Cassopolis, MI 49031.
