Local candidates who wish to seek office for the Dowagiac Union Schools Board of Education must file nominating petitions, affidavit of identity and statement of organization forms no later than 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8, to County Clerk/Register Barb Runyon’s office, 120 N. Broadway, room 123, Cassopolis.

A $100 non-refundable fee may be filed in lieu of nominating petitions.

Two four-year seats, with terms ending June 30, 2015, will be placed on the ballot for the regular school election Tuesday, May 3.
