Let’s get in tune on jobs

Dear editor:

Last week, I listened to Gov. Rick Snyder speak at his State of the State address about job creation having the highest priority, but I’m not sure this vision is reflected in policy.

He spoke on innovative ways to bring jobs to Michigan, invest in infrastructure and revitalize tourism, but our state legislators have been spending their efforts attacking our jobs, health care and salaries.

In the past two weeks, the House and Senate introduced bills that will create Right-to-Work zones, cut public workers’ pay and denounce public sector health care.  These are the same old partisan games that got us here in the first place.

I ask that our state leaders push legislation that will create jobs — and not attack ours.
