Joan Schrader-Wogoman, 81 / March 7, 1929 — Jan. 5, 2011

Joan R. (Albaugh) Schrader-Wogoman, 81, of Dowagiac, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011 at River Ridge Manor following a brief illness.

She was born March 7, 1929 in South Bend to the late Samuel and Cora Bell (Cleland) Albaugh.

Joan was a bus driver for many years with Niles Community Schools. She enjoyed camping, fishing, knitting, crocheting and countless family trips to watch auto racing.

Joan was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Schrader and Ervin Wogoman. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Floyd, Carl and Pete Albaugh; and three sisters, Lucille Holliman, Viola Popp and Bertha Eisele.

She is survived by a son, Gary (Pat) Schrader of Niles; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial luncheon will be held Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Huntly Memorial Baptist Church, 1139 Huntly Rd. in Niles.
