CENTREVILLE – A 20-3 run in the fourth quarter helped erase a seven-point deficit and advanced Cassopolis to the championship game of the Centreville Holiday Tournament on Tuesday.
The Rangers (4-2) trailed 42-35 heading into the final eight minutes of play.
Cassopolis was able to rally and will face Mendon in Wednesday’s championship game.
Nate Hartline led the Rangers with 17 points, while Jacob Lee added 11 and Austin Los nine.
Toby Kuenick, Mike Kealy and Josh Miller all had 10 pionts for the Bulldogs.

White Pigeon Holiday Tournament
Edwardsburg advanced to the championship game of the White Pigeon Holiday Tournament with a 61-35 win over Union City Tuesday night.
The Eddies faced 5-0 White Pigeon, which edged Constantine in the other semifinal on Tuesday, in the title game.

Girls basketball
COLDWATER – An 11-3 run in the third quarter allowed host Coldwater to advance to the championship game of its Holiday Tournament Wednesday afternoon.
The Cardinals defeated visiting Edwardsburg 52-37 Tuesday night.
Coldwater opened up with a 19-11 first quarter lead and stretched its advantage to 32-21 by intermission.
The Cardinals outscored the Eddies 20-16 in the second half to pull away to the victory.
Alissa Herlan led all scorers with 18 points, all of which came on 3-pointers. Querubin Dubois added 13 and Ashley Burkhardt 11.
Edwardsburg was led by Rachel Vite’s 13 points. She was the lone player to reach double digits for the Eddies. Sarah D’Amico added nine.

Bangor Holiday Tournament
BANGOR — The visiting Rangers grabbed an early lead and then held off a late Bangor charge to advance to Wednesday night’s championship game of the Bangor Holiday Tournament.
Cassopolis (5-2) led 12-8 after one period of play and 27-20 at halftime.
The lead was 37-31 heading into the final eight minutes of play, but the Vikings outscored the Rangers 21-17 in the fourth quarter.
Bangor was unable to overtake the Rangers despite a 5-of-14 performance at the free throw line by Cass in the fourth quarter.
Reese Ellison led the Rangers with 17 points, while Tammy Lee and Lela Broussard added 12 and 11 respectively. Savannah Sullivan pitched in with nine.
Monique Johnson led all scorers as she paced the Vikings with 19 points. Shanell Smith added 15.
