Mary Patsy “Pat” Mitchell, 69, of Tucson, Ariz. and formerly from Buchanan and Galien, died Sunday morning, Dec. 12, 2010 in Casa de la luz Hospice after a short battle with cancer.

On July 25, 1969, Pat married Gail Edward Mitchell, Tucson. He survives, along with sons, Michael (Mary) Jerue, Cudahy, Wis. and Jeffrey (Kellie) Jerue, Buchanan; daughter, Shannon (Curt) Collins, Buchanan; grandsons, Brian White of Wisconsin, and Jeffrey and Brandon Jerue, and Bryce Mitchell, all of Buchanan; and great-grandson, Cameron Jerue of Galien.

Pat was preceded in death by son, Gail Edward Mitchell, Jr., Tucson, Ariz.; sister, Genieve Liska, Tucson; and parents, Steve and Gladys Martin, Buchanan.

In accordance with Pat’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a brief memorial service was held Monday, Dec. 13. In lieu of flowers, it is the family’s desire that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or Casa de la luz in memory of Mary Pat Mitchell.
