A 29-year-old Niles man was injured in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday night in Mason Township, Cass County.

Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports that his deputies handled the accident at 9:16 p.m.

Ollen Arnold of Niles was traveling westbound on M-205 when he crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound vehicle driven by Cynthia Franklin, 50, from White Pigeon.

Arnold was transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend and Franklin was transported to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Oslo Ambulance, Porter fire and ambulance and Edwardsburg police assisted deputies at the scene of the accident.

Seatbelts were worn at the time of the accident which remains under investigation.
