Edwardsburg GSRP (Great Start School Readiness) is a 4-year-old preschool program for children who live in the Edwardsburg district.
This year the program was able to serve 32 children.
The preschool program held a special Christmas family night Dec. 8.
The program has monthly activities for families to promote family time, help parents to meet other school families and help children to enjoy time with their family and friends at the same time.
At Christmas family night, the children and their families ate dinner, made gingerbread houses, made reindeer food and also (most importantly) talked with Santa.
It was a great turn out with 87 people in attendance and a great time enjoyed by all who attended.
“The look on the children’s faces as Santa entered the room was priceless,” said Mrs. Steele and Kelly Mortimer. “This is what it’s all about.”
Edwardsburg GSRP will be taking applications for next school year March 8 at kindergarten roundup at the primary.
