The Buchanan girls’ basketball team dropped a close game with Lawrence Tuesday night 36-33.

Buchanan trailed by six at the end of the first, second and third quarters.

Leading the way for the Bucks was Erin Glavin with 15 points, while Chelsea Adolph had eight. Buchanan falls to 1-3 on the season.

The Bucks only shot 4-for-10 from the free throw line, while Lawrence hit eight of 14 from the charity stripe.

The Buchanan girls’ JV team dominated Lawrence 50-24 with Alia Dobrzyski pacing the team with 16 points.
