Growing Kids Growing, the junior garden club of the Niles Garden Club, met at the Niles District Library Saturday at 1 p.m.

The program began with Lyn Butus reading a Christmas story to the group. The children gathered around Butus by the Christmas tree for story time. The project was making a Christmas arrangement. There was a choice of various vases and greens, ranging from Christmas ornaments to holiday greens.

The children could make as many as they wanted and many ideas were used. Each child had his or her picture taken by the Christmas tree with the arrangement, which will be available at growingkidsgrowing.com.

The next meeting for Growing Kids Growing will be Feb. 12. Check its website to keep updated on its activities. For more information on Growing Kids Growing or the Niles Garden Club, call Wendie Stepehenson at 591-1278.
