The American Legion Post 26 will have a special Veterans Day Service Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Riverfront  Park, located at Main and Front streets in Niles.

Pastor Jeff Whittaker from Michiana Christian Embassy will be giving the opening prayer.

The “Pledge of Allegiance To Our Flag” will be led by Commander Kenneth Wolf from the Niles Post.

Also, the color guard and firing squad from the Niles Post will be attending.

The public is encouraged to attend this brief  but very important service, as well as all veterans.
