Eau Claire took advantage of Ford Motor Co.’s “Drive For UR School” program through C. Wimberley Auto Mall, receiving more than $5,000 Nov. 4 that will be divided between its 10 athletic teams. During the test-drive event Oct. 18 at ECHS, the district received $20 for each of the 276 participants, or $5,520. Each team will receive about $500 to spend on whatever needs it identifies.
