Two incumbents elected to Buchanan City Commission seats

Buchanan City Commission incumbents Carla Cole and Joe Scanlon held onto their seats, while commissioner Bill Norton lost his seat in Tuesday’s election.

Former commissioner Dave Hagey will take his place after garnering 502 votes. Scanlon got the most votes with 515, while Cole finished with 457.

Buchanan Chamber of Commerce Director Monroe Lemay had 386, while husband and wife team Bill and Donna Norton finished with 372 and 269 votes respectively.
