Ellis cares about the citizens of the district

Dear editor:

I am voting for Cindy Ellis for state representative in the 78th District and I want you to know why. Many of you may remember that I ran for state rep in the last two election cycles.

During those campaigns I learned about the difficulties many of our families were facing. Well, folks, that has not changed. In fact, it has gotten worse.

In 2008 my opponent ran on a platform of “Jobs, jobs, jobs.” Have you seen the results of her promises? Let me tell you about Cindy Ellis. For 20 years she owned and operated a return to work and medical care management business that operated in five states. Her business helped people get good medical care and get back to work, one by one. Cindy plans to start a Return to Work Program just for the residents of the 78th funded by her first year’s salary as a legislator.

Cindy cares about the citizens of our district and is willing to roll up her sleeves and get to work for us. Isn’t that what a state representative is supposed to do? Please join me in casting your ballot for Cindy Ellis on Nov. 2.
