To the editor:

Carol Higgins is running for Michigan House of Representatives in the 59th District, which comprises all of St. Joe County, and most of Cass County. 

Carol is many things— teacher, farmer, small business woman, newspaper editor, conservationist, community activist and volunteer; wife, mother, grandmother. 

Carol is busy — and you know what they say about busy people.  

Her life and career experience give Carol a unique knowledge and perspective on the issues and problems facing St. Joe and Cass Counties. 

She will put her amazing energy, far-ranging intellect and formidable determination to work for us.

And we will be the better for it.
