Dear editor:

Education is the key to our long-term economic recovery. We need to make sure our students receive the education they deserve.

That’s why I’m supporting Rep. Sharon Tyler for the 78th district this upcoming election. Rep. Tyler has voted against using education dollars to fill holes in other parts of the budget. She also voted against breaking our promise to families across Michigan by eliminating the Michigan Promise Scholarship. 

It’s of the utmost importance that we invest in our education to pave the way for future generations. Help make education a top priority by voting Sharon Tyler for state representative on Nov. 2.
