CASSOPOLIS — Kyle Carpenter scored a goal in the 36th minute on Monday afternoon to lift Cassopolis to the semifinals of the Division 3 District Soccer Tournament.

The Rangers edged Berrien Springs 1-0 to move on to Wednesday’s semifinals against Coloma, a 3-2 winner in a shootout over Brandywine on Monday.

The winner will take on the winner of the Dowagiac-Hartford semifinal on Thursday.

Both semifinals will be played at district host Dowagiac. Both matches begin at 4:30 p.m.

The Rangers made Carpenter’s goal, which was assisted by Blaise Suseland, stand up for the remainder of the match.
