To the editor:

The Democratic candidate for Governor, Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero, is an outstanding public servant, with the knowledge, experience, energy and determination to revitalize Michigan’s economy.

Mayor Bernero has been a vocal advocate for middle class individuals and families, and a fierce critic of the reckless greed of Wall Street.

He is committed to creating and maintaining good-paying jobs in Michigan and has presented a detailed plan, The Main Street Agenda, for making this happen.

In stark contrast, the Republican candidate, Rick Snyder, is a businessman whose main accomplishments have been presiding over the failure of Gateway Computers, a company that outsourced tens of thousands of jobs, and then selling what was left of the company to a Taiwanese corporation.

Mr. Snyder made millions, while thousands of American workers lost their jobs.

The differences between these two candidates, and their parties, could not be more clear.

Please insure a brighter future for Michigan by voting for Virg Bernero, and all the other Democratic Party candidates, on Nov. 2.
