Bobcats fall to Bridgman

RIDGMAN — Regular season Lakeland Conference soccer champion Bridgman advanced to the title match of the league tournament on Monday with a 6-1 win over visiting Brandywine.

The Bees will square off once again with Edwardsburg for the conference championship today at Bridgman High School beginning at 4:30 p.m.

On Monday, the Bees got a pair of goals from Alex Wells, while Alex Wells 2, Matt Hendricks, Matt Englund, Trevor Witherow and Michael Kamp also scored.

Brandywine’s lone goal was scored by Jacob Wieger.

The Bobcats were outshot by Bridgman 16-4.

Jason Andrews had 10 saves for Brandywine. Jackson Kamp had three saves for Bridgman.
