Wicks’ Apple House’s annual Cider Fest is this weekend, Oct. 9 and 10.

“We will have horse-drawn wagon rides, a petting zoo, face painting and a band, all free for families,” according to owner Kelli Casey.

“We also sell tickets for our haunted house, extreme obstacle course, rocket slide and pony rides,” she said Wednesday.

Sister Lakes Fire Department will be there with its smoke House, fire engines and ambulance.

Inside, the Wicks staff will be pressing cider and sampling all their delicious goodies.

Apple House hours this weekend are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.

Outside festivities run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

Wicks’ Apple House is located at 52281 Indian Lake Road north of Dowagiac.
