Terry’s life began July 31, 1947, in Dowagiac, the son of Jerry and Doris (Howard) Geer.

Terry, 63, of Sister Lakes, was a 1965 graduate of Dowagiac Union High School, where he successfully played cornet in the high school band.

Terry was united in marriage to Paula Winchester. They spent two thirds of their lives together.

Terry was a talented heavy equipment operator known as “The Dozer Man” to all with whom he worked.

He had an eye for great detail and precision. He loved to go to old tractor shows, where he would spend hours admiring the intricate workings of the old antiques.

He was known for his immaculate yard and could be seen frequently mowing and manicuring his lawn.

Terry had a great love of music and recently reunited with many of his bandmates at the first Dowagiac Band Reunion.

His loving family includes: his wife, Paula Winchester Geer; sisters, Sharon Geer, Judy (Mike) Baker and Carrol Sue (Joe) Bradford; sister-in-law, Judy Winchester; and brother-in-law, Scott (Dee Dee) Winchester; nieces and nephews, Kristy Bradford, Jenna “Punkin” Huffman, Robbie, Joey, Jeanna and Tom Winchester, in addition to great niece and nephews Alivia, Gage and his very special “Little Joe.”

He leaves behind many treasured lifelong friends.
