CASSOPOLIS — The monthly Cass County Republican Party board meeting will be Tuesday, July 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the Kincheloe room of the 1899 courthouse in Cassopolis.

Don’t forget to vote at the upcoming primary elections on Aug. 3.

The Cass County Republican Convention will be Thursday, Aug. 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the Kincheloe room of the 1899 courthouse in Cassopolis.

Precinct delegates elected at the Aug. 3 primary election, last recent Republican nominees for county and state legislative offices and precinct delegates seated on a permanent basis will be seated at this convention.

All others are welcome to attend but will be unable to vote.

Purpose of the county convention is to vote on delegates to the state convention.

Cass County Republican Party is hosting a Diamond Lake picnic on Friday, Aug. 13, from 5:30  to 8:30 p.m.

It will be held at the Diamond Lake cottage of Darlene Lowe, Emerald House, 21425 Shultz Court, Cassopolis.

The party will be providing chicken and pork roast. There is no fee to attend.

This will be a great opportunity to meet and greet your candidates and local officials.
