CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. — Donald C. Nichols Jr., 55, of Chippewa Falls, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Wissota Health and Regional Center, Chippewa Falls.
Don married Kathryn Snyder on Aug. 18, 1978, in Jones.
Don faithfully served his country for close to 35 years and served the Lord all of his life.
He is survived by: his wife of 31 years, Kathy; one daughter; Sarah C. (Griffin) Bowen of Baldwin; his father, Donald C. (Jean) Nichols Sr. of Niles; three brothers, Michael A. (Velma) Nichols of Dowagiac, John A. (Kim) Nichols of Niles and Charles J. (Connie Johnson) Nichols of South Bend, Ind.; and two grandchildren, Robert A. Gausmann and Paiton J. Bowen.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 26, at Mason Township Baptist Church, 20109 Mason St., Edwardsburg.
Inurnment will be in Five points Cemetery in Edwardsburg.
Military rites will be conducted at the cemetery.
Friends may call one half hour before the time of services on Saturday, June 26, at the church. A potluck lunch will follow the services at the cemetery at Mason Township Baptist Church, Edwardsburg.
