CASSOPOLIS – A 69-year-old man was sentenced in Cass County Court June 4 to one year of probation for knowingly allowing marijuana to be grown on his property.

William Parker Sr., of 16137 M-60, Vandalia was convicted of controlled substance-manufacturing marijuana stemming from Aug. 12, 2009 at his property.
