Lake of the Woods Improvement Association will sponsor a boating safety course at Webster Memorial Library, Phelps and St. Mary’s streets in downtown Decatur, on Saturday, June 19, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The course will be presented by the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office in cooperation with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.

There is no charge to attend this educational opportunity.

Participants must be at least 12.
