Dowagiac’s annual beautification contest is sponsored by Town and Country Garden Club

Applicant requirements:

Residential and commercial properties (not designed, maintained or installed by a commercial landscape/lawn company).

Coverage area:

City limits and  one mile outside of the city limits.

If you are interested in entering a lawn or garden you admire, residential or commercial, including your own, please do so!

Entries must include name, address and the telephone number of the property owner, if possible.

All entries must be received by Saturday, June 12.

Contest date:

A panel of judges will be visiting the lawn and garden areas of the submitted entries during the week of June 14-20.

Winners and honorable mentions will be notified on Monday, June 21, according to Co-President Pattie Behnke.

Prizes:
First place, $75.
Second place, $50.
Third place, $25.
Honorable mention will be recognized in the Daily News.
