Niles finishes year at 14-10

The Niles JV baseball team swept visiting Benton Harbor Tuesday afternoon at Thomas Stadium to wrap up its 2010 campaign.
The Vikings defeated the Tigers 15-0 and 11-1 to finish the year at 14-10.
In the opening game, Mitchell Dehn struck out eight in tossing a no-hitter to earn his fifth victory of the season.
Dehn finished the year with an ERA of 2.05 and 54 strikeouts.
Alex Grishaber was 2-for-2 with four RBIs, while seven other Niles players had hits, including Tyler Parish, who had a three-run homerun, his third of the season.
Zack Webber added a double as the Vikings finished with nine hits.
Grishaber earned the victory in the nightcap as he allowed one run on three hits with four strikeouts in three innings of work.
Taylor Purucker worked the fourth inning.
Shawn Dudka was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, while Alec Brown was 2-for-4.
Alec Landon and Tyler Jackson both had a double.
Niles had eight hits in the second game.
