CASSOPOLIS – “Journeying with Your parents into their Old Age,” a program designed to help adult children and their aging parents deal with sensitive life topics, begins a new session May 26 at 5:30 p.m. at Lakeland Hospital in Niles.
Topics such as when to give up the car keys, break up housekeeping or help with medical/legal issues.
Family and sibling dynamics and long-distance care giving are also covered.
By understanding an aging parent’s experience, participants will be better prepared to communicate with and help them through their late life journey.
This three-week class is made possible through a service contract with Area Agency on Aging Region IV.
Call the Council on Aging to register at (800) 323-0390 or (269) 445-8110.
