Yoga is all-new at Fernwood this year with a new instructor and new times. Join yoga instructor Deirdre Guthrie on Saturdays and Thursdays from noon to 1:30 p.m. Guthrie has taught yoga since 1998 in San Francisco, Chicago and southwest Michigan’s Harbor Country. Bus trip to see Dale Chihuly Sculptures
You won’t want to miss this chance to see the amazing work of blown glass artist Dale Chihuly. Join Fernwood from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 25 as they head to Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids to see Chihuly’s newest exhibit, “A New Eden.” In celebration of Meijer Garden’s 15th anniversary, 15 new colorful glass sculptures created by Chihuly are placed throughout the grounds and in the buildings.

Knee-High Naturalists: Salamanders
In this popular children’s series, children ages 4 and 5 will explore the woods and gardens of Fernwood to learn about nature. On May 21 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., youngsters will pursue  facts about the fascinating creatures called salamanders. Among their discoveries will be that most have four toes on their front legs and five on their rear legs. And unique among vertebrates, they are capable of regenerating lost limbs, as well as other body parts. Dress children for walking the trails. Register in advance at (269) 695-6491.
