Ted Kuriata

Ted Kuriata, 62, of Laredo, formerly of Dowagiac, was called home by his Lord on Tuesday, April 27, 2010.
Ted was a Dowagiac native for the first 41 year of his life and had several loving family members and friends.
He was an honest and loving man who lived his last 22 years in Laredo and worked for Modine Corp. as a production analyst.
He loved playing many different sports throughout his life and enjoyed watching his children do the same in later years.
He enjoyed being with his children and loved his grandsons and enjoyed being with them also.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Hipolit and Lydia Kuriata; brother, Daniel; and sister, Marie.
He is survived by: his brothers, Walter, Edward, and John Kuriata; his sons, Tod and Kurt Kuriata; his daughters, Kristine Voss (Michael), Connie (Daniel Munoz), Cindi, and Kimberly Kuriata; his grandchildren, Konner Voss and Daniel Munoz IV; and his best friend and mother to his youngest kids, Joaquina Kuriata.
His family will gather with friends on Friday from 5 to 8 pm at Yazel and Clark Chapel, where a prayer service will be conducted at 7 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Leo Taubitz on Saturday at 9 a.m. at Holy Maternity of Mary Catholic Church.
He will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Dowagiac.
