David L. Martin, 72, of Mt. Zion Street, Cassopolis, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010 in his home.

He was born June 10, 1937 in Niles to the late Roy and Dorothy (Clark) Martin.

He is survived by four children, David (Kathy) Martin, of St. Joseph, Kristie Wiles, of Berlington, W.Va., Lora Martin, of Cassopolis and Vernon Martin, of Boise, Idaho; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Jean Virgie, of Niles; and his life partner, Richard, Montgomery, of Cassopolis.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 17, 2010 at noon at Connelly Funeral Home. Officiating will the Rev. Eric Sietsema, pastor of Day Spring Community Church, Edwardsburg.

Cremation will follow the service.

The family will receive friends on Saturday one hour before the service.
