Empty Bowls supper
The Empty Bowls Project Soup and Chili Supper will be at Moccasin School in Buchanan on Friday April 30 from 5 to 8 p.m. Local school children and adult potters at the Buchanan Art Center have been working hard to offer beautiful and interesting bowls for purchase. The event will benefit the local food pantry.

‘Equivocate,’ ‘Subjective’ exhibits
“Equivocate,” a selection of pottery by Southwestern Michigan College students, and “Subjective,” an exhibit of pearl jewelry by Southwestern Michigan College instructor Sherrie Styx will open Tuesday. A reception will be held Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Meet the artists and take a last look at the show as it will be closing Saturday at 4 p.m.
