We Care Meals on Wheels of Benton Harbor partnered with the local Applebee’s and Wing Etc. to raise awareness that area seniors may be experiencing hunger issues.

Fundraising events were held at Wings Etc. on March 2 and at Applebee’s on March 24.

We Care Meals on Wheels has raised well over $1,000 in local support for this issue, but more is needed. Signatures are being collected on a table cloth through late August to promote the awareness of senior hunger and will be presented in Atlanta at the national Meals on Wheels Association convention.
