Association of Retired School Personnel to host Retirement Planning Seminar in Berrien Springs

The Berrien County Chapter of the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel will present a two-day Retirement Planning Seminar to be held at the Berrien RESA (formerly known as the BCISD) in Berrien Springs.

A representative from the Office of Retirement Services, Ray Fleming, will speak at 4 p.m. and then again at 6:30 p.m. April 26. His topic will be the “MPSERS Retirement Plan,” which will include pension benefits, service credit, retirement eligibility and much more. Branko Bojicic, a representative from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, will speak at 1 p.m. and then again at 4 p.m. on April 29 on the “BCBSM/Medicare Health Insurance Program.” He will cover information on the health care program offered to retired pubic school employees in Michigan. Pre-registration is not required for either of these presentations.

Both speakers are considered experts in their respective fields.  Both are natives of Michigan and have held their current positions in these two important organizations for more than 25 years.

A question-and-answer session will follow each presentation. Handouts will be available.
