Niles netters beat Bobcats

NILES – The Niles varsity tennis team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 6-2 win over cross-town rival Brandywine on Monday afternoon.
The Vikings won three out of four flights at both singles and doubles to post the victory.
Rachael Horn, Tearah Hucheson and Bianca Vann were the winners for Niles in singles competition.
Alyssa Robbins picked up the lone victory for the Bobcats at No. 2 singles.
Winning doubles matches for the Vikings were Allison Landgraf and Lena Cramer, Danielle Rothfuchs and Meg Hein, as well as Anna Benjamin and Brittany Blankenship.
The Bobcats’ No. 3 doubles team of Katie Robbins and Lena Miles earned a victory.
