CASSOPOLIS – CROSS Community Youth Group, in partnership with Cassopolis United Methodist Church, hosts a haystack benefit dinner for the Ridge family March 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church, 209 S. Rowland St.

Sara Ridge has had severe health issues since birth.

Her mother, Kylee Ridge, is a favorite teacher in the Cassopolis Public School system.
Donations will be accepted at the door for the cost to attend the dinner.  Take out is available.

Ruff said a haystack dinner is an Amish-themed dinner with seasoned ground beef, tortilla chips, rice, beans, lettuce, salsa, cheese, etc. Layer as much or as little as you like.
