Lake Michigan College’s Bertrand Crossing Campus will host a free open forum titled “Dealing with the Modern Family” Saturday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to noon. The workshop will be held at the Bertrand Crossing Campus, located at 1905 Foundation Drive, Niles.

Local family therapist Melissa Longley, MSW, LSW will host the session. Topics for discussion will include current family trends and dynamics, with special attention on divorce, the blended family and the effects these have on children.
