Martha E. “Mickey” Vance, 75, of 325 Fairview Lane, Lorida, Fla. died at 9:15 p.m. Feb. 15, 2010 in Sebring, Fla.

She was born June 21, 1934 in Battle Creek, Mich. She was married June 28, 1952 in Battle Creek to Franklin D. Vance.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and flying. Martha worked 38 years at Simplicity Pattern Co.

She is survived by her husband, Franklin; daughter, Deborah (James) Brown; grandson, Justin Benjamin; granddaughter, Tiffany Benjamin; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Vera Sabin-Battle Creek.

Martha is preceded in death by her son, Donald Vance; mother and father, Mary and Leo Sypher; brother, Jim Dennis; sisters, Mary Evans and Betty Bird; and brother, John Dennis.

Cremation has taken place. A service will be held at a later date.
