Meryl “Lorelei” Sheeley, 85, of Niles died at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at Our Lady of Peace Hospital in Mishawaka.

She is survived by children, Darlene (Jack) Wright, Carol Goodrich and Lonnie Rhino; grandchildren, Tracy (Jeffrey) Freeze, Rodney (Brenda) Wright, Kim (Rudy ) Regalado, Clifford (Teresa) Goodrich and Kristen (Jeffrey) Brink; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Zane M. Sheeley; a daughter, Barbara Jean; a sister; and three brothers.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Swem Chapel, Buchanan. Internment will follow for both Lorelei and Zane at the Galien Cemetery.
