Fernwood Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve is hosting the David Walenga wildlife photography exhibit “It’s a Perfect Picture Day” beginning Tuesday in the art gallery.

Applying the skills learned shooting his children’s sports events, Walenga has become an accomplished wildlife photographer. “I love the early morning. The light is wonderfully soft and you can watch the day come alive,” says this Niles native, who now resides with his family in Maryland. Enjoy Walenga’s exhibit in Fernwood’s Art Gallery through March 27. Free with paid Fernwood admission (Fernwood members free).
