Thomas E. Frey, 60 of Niles and formerly of Indianapolis and Shelbyville, Ind. died Jan. 25, 2010.

Thomas was born July 29, 1949 in St. Joseph County, Ind., the son of Elmer E. and Norma (Day) Frey, both whom have preceded him in death. He was a truck
driver for 11 years with Quickway Carrier Co., he was a life  member of the VFW Post No. 261, Teamsters Union Local No. 135 and was a  U.S. Marine Corp veteran of the Vietnam War.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Kathleen; A.(Roop)Frey; children, Thomas E. Frey Jr., Donna J. Frey and Steven D. Frey; his sisters, Nancy Northrup, Vicki Steen, Sue Oswald, Sharron Cox, Jamie Rodgers, Mary Alice Franks; a brother, Perry Frey; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Center.

Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 29, 2010 at 11a.m.in the funeral center.
